This family recently purchased a home that was in a beautiful area but had been a bit neglected. There were two key areas of the house that needed to be changed in order to meet the owners’ lifestyle; the entryway and the addition of a new pool house. First, the owners thought remodeling the front entryway would give the home a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, adding to the “curb-side” appeal of the home.

The family decided to add a pool house for two reasons. The first reason was that one of the owners works from home and requires privacy and a dedicated work space. Secondly, they have two boys and a swimming pool. They wanted to add a bathroom closer to the pool. A separate building in the backyard was the perfect solution for the owners. Finding a local contractor was an easy task; finding a contractor that they trusted and could feel comfortable with was the real challenge. They gathered references from friends and business associates and selected contractors from the National Association of Remodelers Industry (NARI), where they found our company.

They selected our company, first and foremost, because of our commitment and ability to complete the project. We were able to work with the owners on meeting their goals, budget, and needs. The owners were impressed and committed to work with our company when they learned we offered a one-stop solution, managing all aspects of the project, from design to completion.

Before - The idea to extend the eve over the front of the house would help with the sun problem and would also give the home a more aesthetically pleasing look. The owners also felt this would give the house a true front entryway with the “curb-side” appeal it was lacking.

Before - They thought the addition of a bathroom, separate from the house and next to the pool, would prevent the boys from running through the home dripping wet.

After - The new location of the pool house required s to trench and install an additional 100 lineal feet of plumbing and sewer tie-in lines. We installed a through-the-wall air conditioning unit to cool the space as well. The existing pool in the backyard provided enjoyment and entertainment for the family, especially for their two boys.
